Do you work with certain assistants? Do they ever replace you on the day of the wedding?
Yes, after many years of working on weddings and events, I've gotten the chance to get to know several individuals who have assisted me in the past and that I thoroughy enjoy working with.
Although I can always be found with an assistant at an event, they do not take over for me on the day(s) of the event.
What is the largest wedding you've ever planned?
The largest wedding I've ever planned was with 218 guests, not including a bridal party of twelve. Although this was the largest wedding I ever planned person-wise, it was not the most elaborate wedding. The most elaborate wedding I've ever planned took one extra day of on-site, hands-on prep time before the wedding even began, and it was for a wedding of 120 guests.
What is the most memorable wedding you've ever planned?
The most memorable wedding I've ever planned was for a couple who really wanted to share their union and their excitement with friends and family - they did this not only having a warm ceremony and a enriching reception ambience but also by creating unique and special details that really made their wedding stand out. Such details included the decor, entertainment, and food selections.
What is the amount of the initial deposit?
I hope to be given the opportunity to work with you and your vision. If this is the case the initial deposit is 25% of the total fee. This amount is usually due two weeks after hiring me.
What is your refund policy in case of cancellation?
As with many vendors I have a payment schedule that you can follow or you can pay me the complete amount up front. The more time that passes the more work that has been contributed to the event and consequently the less amount can be refunded of the total fee.
If the event is cancelled a third of the way through to the final event date, 75% of the total fee will be refunded. If the event is cancelled two thirds of the way through to the final event date, 25% of the total fee will be refunded. If the event is cancelled within a week of the actual event date, unfortunately none of the fee is refunded.
