Ultimately how we price our compensation depends on your event requirements and event type - whether you need event coordination or event planning, whether your event is a one-evening event or a week-long event.
Your proposal will include a general breakdown of our responsibilities, ideas, and estimated compensation.
In the end we usually charge our fees in one of two ways:

Flat Fee
This type of compensation is generally used for events that only require event coordination.
- For instance : In 2004 a client hired us for our event coordination services. They were holding an awards dinner banquet for roughly 100 guests on a clear and chilly Saturday night. They had already hired all their vendors, established a theme and decor, and decided on all party details. We were hired to coordinate the event a year in advance - to communicate with vendors, to execute the details, and to ensure a seamless night for the banquet's guests and guests of honor. We came in a month prior to the start of the event to work on finishing details and tie up any loose ends. For this we charged a flat fee of $950.

Percentage Fee
This type of compensation is calculated off of either budget or profit numbers, depending on event type. Most of our event planning services use percentage fees and can range from 5% to 15%.
- For instance : In 2006 a client hired us for our event planning services. They were throwing an 50th anniversary celebration and wanted to spend the night with about 250 family and friends. They knew the type of ambience they wanted for their occasion but they did not wish to plan the actual event or get too involved in the details. We handled the planning including invitations, vendors, and themes from the initial planning stages to the final clean up stages of the actual event. For this we charged a 10% fee calculated off their total budget.
