How do you charge for your services?
Depending on your event and what service you need from us we charge either a flat fee or a percentage of the budget or profit. To find out more please visit our pricing page.
What is the largest event you've ever planned?
I've planned an anniversary celebration at a private residence with a little over 200 guests.
Are you willing to work with an events committee we already have set up within our organization?
Absolutely! All of my services already include one assistant who in this case will work with the rest of the committees team to make sure the event goes smoothly.
Do you or are you willing to do promotion for our event?
Yes I've done marketing and/or promotion for events in the past however if extensive promotion or marketing is necessary I would recommend hiring a professional PR firm to attend to your needs. I am, though, more than happy to work with the PR firm to promote your event.
What is the amount of the initial deposit?
The initial deposit is 30% of the total fee. This amount is usually due two weeks after hiring me.
What is your refund policy in case of cancellation?
As with many vendors I have a payment schedule that you can follow or you can pay me the complete amount up front. The more time that passes the more work that has been contributed to the event and consequently the less amount can be refunded of the total fee.
If the event is cancelled a third of the way through to the final event date, 70% of the total fee will be refunded. If the event is cancelled two thirds of the way through to the final event date, 20% of the total fee will be refunded. If the event is cancelled within a week of the actual event date, unfortunately none of the fee is refunded.
